No Denial of Christ

During the Communist regime, there were many "illegal" Bible studies that took place. This story occurred in an Asian country in the 1970's. Further details of the setting are not available.

Communist soldiers discovered an illegal Bible study while the pastor of the group was reading from the Bible. The soldiers had guns and terrorized the believers. They insulted the Christians, and the leader pointed his gun at the pastor's head and demanded his Bible.

The pastor handed over the Bible, and the Communist leader threw the Bible on the floor and said that they would be set free if they spat on the book of lies. Anyone would be shot if they refused, no other choice.

The soldier pointed the gun at a man and said "You first!" The man slowly knelt before the Bible, spit on it, and said "Father, please forgive me." He stood up, and the soldiers let him leave. The next person did the same thing; she unwillingly spat on the Bible, and was set free.

Then a young girl was next in line. She had a zeal for her Savior and refused to obey the atheistic Communists. She wiped off the spit with her dress, picked up the Bible, and said "Oh, Lord. What have they done to your Word? Please forgive them."

The soldiers pointed the gun at her and pulled the trigger.

MAY WE NEVER DENY CHRIST, EVEN IF WE MUST DIE FOR IT!!

The Faith of True Believers

Throughout history there have been stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things for the cause of Christ. During the Communist regime of the Soviet Union in the midst of the Cold War, there were numerous stories of Christians standing firm in their faith. Many people do not know that the Communists in the Soviet Union hated God; they infiltrated atheism into every aspect of people's lives. They did their best to put Christians away from the podium; they put many in prison. The Communists hated God and brainwashed many people. They promoted Marxism. Millions of Christians were killed during this period because of their faith.

Thankfully, Christianity was growing at a rapid pace, despite the fact that the government was trying to stop it. A famous Christian reported seeing a pastor in a Communist prison who was speaking to other prisoners about Christ. Suddenly, a few guards took the pastor out of the cell. Ten minutes later he was thrown back into the cell, bleeding, bruised, and swollen. It was a terrible sight. The pastor slowly got up off the floor and said to the other prisoners "Sorry for the interruption, brethren. Now where was I?" And he resumed his discussion! The person who reported this incredible incident said "I have seen beautiful things inside these prison cells!"
